Castle of Joy is a unique event venue, lodge, fine art gallery, film/ photo shoot location located in the Western Georgia, North Carolina Mountains. Only 90 minutes from Chattanooga, TN, 2 hrs from Asheville, and 2 hrs from Atlanta. It's the perfect mountain destination!

The inspired castle backdrop is set on 11 acres at the bottom of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The castle and grounds have been designed as a functional photo set which means all your photos will be amazing!

Named Castle of Joy because that is what we want you and your guests to feel and take home. Our goal is for you to have an experience that is special and unique to you, and there are so many ways to do that at Castle of Joy. Tucked away inside the mountains the Castle of Joy is your own private compound for at least 1 full day and night! Weekend buy out option is available.

We will spend time discussing your vision and customize the venue to suit your dreams. This is why we love to start you off with a tour of the castle. We will discuss the different options, hear your thoughts and create your dream day.

What You Get In Detail:

With every package the couple and up to 12 guests get a one night stay at the castle Friday or Saturday and a 2 night stay Monday - Wednesday at the same rate. Weekend buy out option available.
Two designated ceremony site options. One is in front of the castle and the other in the pavilion next to the Carriage Barn. You may also choose to use any other part of the property.
A 1000 sq. ft renovated Carriage Barn next to the pavilion.
Two suites on the top floor for the couple to enjoy a private and beautiful space to prepare. Each suite includes a full bathroom and access through french doors to the terrace with the incredible Blue Ridge Mountain views and hot tub.
All tables, linens and chairs are included.
Someone to greet you and your vendors. The space will be set up and ready for your guests to enjoy upon your check in. A walk through will be done to be sure the ceremony chairs, tables, candles, centerpieces etc, are in their proper place. This will all be agreed upon prior to your event. Your vendors will have someone to greet them and tend to any last minute needs.
Centerpieces are provided using antique glass bottles. The chandelier in the Carriage Barn will be dripping in faux greenery.
Fire pit and horse shoes available for your enjoyment.
Fish food is left for the gold fish in the Sweetheart pond.
The lounge holds a pool table and giant television equipped with the ability to play a slide show of the happy couple. Or use a fireplace app for ambiance or Roku devise for streaming. Unlimited lighting options are available in the lounge. Antique and unique furniture live in the lounge but can be brought outside if requested and weather permits.
Handcrafted Dungeon style bunk room with electric fireplace and TV with DVD player. Perfect for the young ones to have a quiet space at the end of their night. 4 full size and 4 twin XL beds. These bunks were created for adults but set up to be enjoyed by all. Many DVD's to choose from for any age.
A large antique inspired easel for a giant couples photo, signing board etc.
Handcrafted wood tables (seats 10-12 each)
